23.3.2024 - IIFL Foundation Supported Hospitality Chef Trade Training & Retail Trade Projects in Kupwara, Kashmir with support of Indian Army with REACHA as implementation partner

On 23 March 2024 we gathered to celebrate the certification ceremony of the Chef Trade Batch 2, 3, and 4 and Retail Batch 2 (130+ students attended). Certificates were distributed to all the talented individuals who successfully completed their training.



Hospitality Training assessments are conducted in partnership with Tata STRIVE - The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) and Retail Training assessments are conducted in partnership with Retailers Association's Skill Council of India. 120/120 students in chef trade hospitality cleared assessment and 25+/36 in retail training have cleared the assessment.



Parents of the trainees were also present, showing their support and pride for their children's achievements.



Placement efforts and constant following up for retail students and chef trade students (75% of chef trainees are placed) are underway by REACHA team.


The event was graced by the presence of our esteemed chief guest, Irfan Lone, the Chief Editor of KUPWARA TIMES. Additionally, Girish Saive and AZAD Naqashbandi from REACHA team also took part in the ceremony.

During the ceremony, the trainees shared their experiences and reflected on their journey. It was inspiring to hear how they overcame challenges and honed their skills to become certified.


Overall, the certification ceremony was a success, filled with a lot of pride.
