Circular dated September 20, 2023 from U.P. Skill Development Mission , outlining the IBM SkillsBuild Programme was released. This was sent to District Coordinators of all 75 Districts of Uttar Pradesh.
REACHA team is putting in deep dive efforts in - Varanasi, Lucknow, Kanpur, Delhi-NCR, Raebareli districts and is closely working in coordination with the Local Administration - DM, DC, MIS/DSM, Local Colleges and Community.
REACHA, in partnership with Jeevitam, participated in the Sansad Rozgar Mela in Varanasi on 9th December 2023 and 12th December 2023. Team also participated at the Kanpur Rozgar Mela held at Government ITI, Pandunagar, Kanpur organized by the Training, counselling and Placement cell, Nodal ITI, Kanpur on 21st December 2023. Meritorious students were presented with access to employability opportunities.
A noteworthy outcome of the December 12 Job Fair in Varanasi was the successful onboarding of two youths from UPSDM by REACHA.
On November 18, 2023, a meeting was undertaken with Shri Kapil Dev Aggarwal, the Minister of Vocational Education and Skill Development in Uttar Pradesh regarding the same efforts.
Prior to gaining access to employability opportunities, the REACHA team has initiated conducting of classes on Effective Communication and students are motivated to participate in this course. This proactive approach is aimed to equip students with fundamental communication skills, ensuring they are well-prepared for the employment journey ahead.
