IIFL (India Infoline Group) Foundation supported Homestay Host Training Program

IIFL (India Infoline Group) Foundation supported Homestay Host Training Program, implemented by REACHA with support of NATIONAL CADET CORPS - India at Indira Gandhi Government College, Tezu Arunachal Pradesh.


  1. Week of 5th August 2024 - Industry Exposure Visit; Key updates - 

  2. Homestay Host trainees and staff visited Hotel Kinnara, in Namsai. The students explored hotel's amenities and picturesque surroundings, gaining valuable insights of hospitality industry's standards and practices.

  3. Housekeeping supervisor provided detailed information on housekeeping department, explaining their responsibilities such as cleaning, maintaining guest rooms, public areas, ensuring high standards of hygiene.

  4. F&B supervisor shared insights into the Food and Beverage department, outlining their key functions such as managing dining services, coordinating with kitchen staff, and ensuring high-quality service for guests.

  5. Front Office (FO) supervisor provided an overview of department's roles, which include managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and addressing guest inquiries and issues. They explained how the FO team ensures smooth daily operations, coordinates with other departments, and maintains high standards of guest service.

  6. Team REACHA thanks Mr. Propal Gogoi, General Manager, Namsai for hosting the students and staff and for explaining the role of each Department in great detail.


Entire emphasis was on welcoming and creating comfortable environment for the guest. 


We thank IIFL (India Infoline Group) Foundation to make all the above possible. The trainees come from remote areas of Arunachal Pradesh and this program and such exposure is helping them to widen their horizons a lot.
