Trainees of the 4th batch of IIFL (India Infoline Group) Foundation supported Hospitality Chef Trade Training embarked on an industrial visit to Hotel Rose Petal Srinagar. This visit provided them with a firsthand experience of the culinary world and an insight into the inner workings of the hospitality industry.
The visit began with an exploration of various departments within the hotel, allowing the trainees to understand the roles and responsibilities of each department. They were able to witness the teamwork and coordination required to ensure smooth operations in a hotel setting.
The trainees also had the opportunity to observe the kitchen staff in action, witnessing the precision and skill required to create exquisite dishes. They were able to interact with the chefs and gain insight into the creative process behind menu planning and food presentation.
Trainees also explored the front-of-house operations, learning about the importance of customer service and guest satisfaction.
