We have launched KOJO - Coding and Basic Computer programme (Training to 120 Youth) in Baramulla with ONGC support after a successful pilot project. We are also collaborating with the Education Department of Baramulla for this project.
The Kojo - Coding project is in full alignment with National Education Policy - NEP 2020. The objective is to develop Kojo Instructors who can be engaged/absorbed by Schools that will be soon mandated to include coding as part of their school curriculum under NEP 2020. Thus, as a first mover approach, the project is a potential placement linked 21st Century Skill Training initiative that will prepare the youth to compete for coding-related jobs in Schools.
