Recently, the team at Chinar 9 Jawan Club, Baramulla, Kashmir has been facing problems with setting up the food processing unit (FPU) despite heavy investment because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In November 2021, when the situation improved, REACHA along with the Indian Army helped the beneficiaries in setting up the food processing unit and its functioning using the funds disbursed by Genpact and NASSCOM Foundation. REACHA Team met officers from the Department of Horticulture and lined up training sessions on how to use various types of equipment at the FPU.
