REACHA scales up its efforts in the State of J&K in partnership with the Indian Army

We are glad and honoured to announce our new livelihoods and entrepreneurship project in Kupwara!

REACHA has collaborated with the Indian Army, SIDBI and TYCIA Foundation for a new CSR initiative, “Swavalamban Disha'' which was virtually inaugurated by Shri S. Ramann, CMD, SIDBI on 13th November, 2021. The inauguration was also attended by Col. M. S. Navalgatti, Commanding Officer, 41 Rashtriya Rifles (RR), Maratha Light Infantry (LI) of the Indian Army, other Senior Indian Army Officers, TYCIA Foundation team and REACHA team, held at Town Company under aegis of 41 RR, Maratha (LI). This CSR initiative carries two themes, “SAMARTH & JAZBA”.

Under JAZBA, the intervention will aim at providing financial support via direct bank transfers and rendering capacity building to community role models in Kashmir working on social projects or promoting arts, music and culture.

Under SAMARTH, the invention will aim at generating livelihood through direct bank transfers to people who have lost their primary breadwinner to COVID-19 or their microbusiness have shut down. The funds transferred are to be used by the beneficiaries to start over or scale up their livelihood in order to provide for their family.

We are all enthusiastic and excited to start working and spreading smiles in yet another Aspirational District, Kupwara, J&K.

This is part of REACHA efforts to play a strategic developmental role to strengthen national integration by constructive collaborations with the Indian Army, Our Pride, in the beautiful, scenic, and very sensitive state of J&K.
