REACHA Team met with Deputy Commissioner, Lohit District, Shri Shashvat Saurabh, IAS Saurabh on 17/5/2024 to seek support for placement and market linkages for the candidates who have completed IIFL (India Infoline Group) Foundation supported Home Stay Host Training Program under guidance of NATIONAL CADET CORPS - India implemented by REACHA at Tezu, Arunachal Pradesh.
There are some candidates who are interested in setting up their own home stays. DC office was happy to hear this, and mentioned that they would try to assist them through relevant government schemes. They also would try to find internship opportunities for the other candidates.
REACHA team is also travelling to places like - Wakhet Liang Village, Medu Village, Namsai Marwa Village etc around Arunachal Pradesh and is connecting with local homestays, hotels and resorts for placement/internship opportunities for the pass-out candidate.
Recently, Tourism & Hospitality Skill Council conducted assessment for students on 8/5/2024 and 9/5/2024 and all 43 students who appeared for the exam and practical have successfully cleared the same!
The focus and push is now on placement/internship opportunities for these candidates so they can have a chance to use and apply what they have learnt in this training to further strengthen their career, and contribute to not only economy of Northeast but also of India!
