The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) supported Hospitality Chef Bakery and Food and Beverage Training Program implemented by REACHA under supervision of Indian Army at Boniyar, Kashmir.
Classes and Practical are underway and students are going through Tata STRIVE market aligned curriculum. Communication Skills, Personality Development, Computer Skills are a major part of this program.
This program comes in towards meeting the requirement of skilled staff that is coming up due to increase in tourism activity in Kashmir.
The program is also helping to give students direction in life and giving them an opportunity to get meaningfully engaged and be able to earn a livelihood.
The staff visited Taj hotel in Srinagar to explore internship opportunities and market guidance for the students on 7 August 2028.
